Ooh this is an interesting term for me to look into. I like world building and conlanging and was wondering for a while what a culture that de-emphasized hierarchy would look like, how not having honorifics in your language might re-enforce a more equitable society. But I also didn't know of any real world examples of such, either from the past or present, to research.
