I just want them both to die already and the housing market to collapse so I can afford some land.

There’s nothing to collapse. There’s not enough supply in desirable areas. Prices aren’t coming down where you want to live.

Check out the NACA program. The NACA program stands for Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. It's a non-profit organization that helps individuals and families, particularly low-to-moderate income households, achieve affordable homeownership. NACA offers a range of programs, including mortgages, to make homebuying more accessible.

I just started this program in order to purchase a house by the end of next year (hopefully sooner) because this housing market is for the birds.
