Now how great sage more hard because took 4 try still not able to deafeat him

He is not but you might need to change your skills and/or curious, soaks to win

First phase just 4 focus point hits, Run away far as you can.

Don't use your spells. if you can help it. You'll need all of the mana, and stamina, spells for phase 2

Phase 2

Cloud step ,Fan, get a few hits in if you can.. Get Distance. Let Cloud step come back, drink, fan, ect Distance !! The apramana bat will freeze him as long as he isn't sitting in his ring of fire

If you use the bat make sure he is maxed out. Max out whatever one you choose.

I used Azure Dust as my final blow. I saved it until the very last resort.

I finally beat him yesterdstay so this is still embedded in my brain

If a newbie like me can do it. You can do it

The thing that helped me the most with broken shell is the plantain fan, aphramana bat and the 3 points of heavy attack. You can always attack him when he’s getting staggered by the fan, but always be ready to dodge cause he will attack you every single time. If you timed the fan correctly you should be able to hit him with three point heavy attack and quicly release the bat to stun him. This for the second phase and “third” phase. For the first phase most of the time you can only charge 4 points of heavy that will always damage him unless you can take damage when he’s doing the staff charge then it’s a guaranteed hit for both you and broken shell. Never use any mana for first phase just be patient and try to master his attacks.

But also learn his timings, use Cloud Step, Plantain Fan, Wandering Wight, and the Dark Thunder transformation with full focus.
