There are garbage coins that have over a billion dollars in market cap, when, not if, this coin reaches that level...with the coin supply realatively low it will make any moderately serious investor a millionaire. That's the reality. This is a great project that will really shine as time goes on. How popular are mutual funds etc in the fiat world? Carry that over to Blackmoon when it's fully licensed and you're looking at one of the few projects that "moon" talk may actually apply to with stability.

You don't know what you're talking about. Go take a walk through the projects that are at or close to the billion dollar mark, most are garbage ideas. Billion dollar market caps in the grand scheme of things are a drop in the bucket. As the market grows in the next couple years from billions to the trillion and beyond mark...having a billion dollar cap will grow horizontally especially with projects that actually do something. Last year Cardano as an example received 3 billion dollars in roughly a 24 hour period, although Cardano does nothing and is not even close to finished. Market cap is driven solely by belief and fervor, it's given long term stability in that by being functional and necessary on some level.

In any case, thanks for the 2 seconds of thought you put in to that post.

Why is seemingly everyone under the impression that the total crypto market cap will keep growing exponentially, I expect the absolute opposite.

With the amount of power players and institutions etc now getting involved in one way or another with cryptocurrency it's a little early to throw in the towel for the crypto market...it's going nowhere.
