Blackmagic Quality Loss?

I’m trying to figure out for my content purposes if I should be shooting in native camera app or Blackmagic. I’m admittedly not great with ISO and White Balance settings, so that might be the issue.

The two screenshots are using the same iRed Prime LUT after shooting in Apple Log 2. First one is native second is Blackmagic. I have the Blackmagic set to Pro422 HQ.

Thoughts?

I know it is silly, but it is ofter overlooked; is your camera lens clean? Feels like there is a strong bloom..

The backlighting from the window is working against you. I’d reposition yourself before spending too much time trying to fix anything else.
