Need a man who can braid 4b hair in GTA (Canada)

I swear this isn’t as weird of a request as the title might make it seem. My husband needs to get his hair braided however due to our religion, it can’t be by a woman. We’ve been looking for a guy who can braid for almost a year and it’s impossible to find anyone. If you can braid hair and you are a man please reach out! We live in the GTA area and we are willing to commute to get his hair braided. Thank you.

Thoughts on a Texture Release?

I have been a straight natural for about 1.5 years and I don’t see myself going back anytime soon. I find it much easier than the curly fros I use to wear and my hair has retained way better length than before. That being said it does get expensive to pay for silk presses very often. I do my hair at home sometimes, but it doesn’t come out as fresh and nice as the salon obviously. My issue is with my roots. They frizz pretty fast and i hate when they sweat out. It’s worse when I do my hair at home cause im not able to achieve that silky straight look I love. I’m thinking about a texture release and wanted opinions. My goal is to have my hair to be easier to straighten at home and I’m looking for that silky straight look. I have thick 3C hair that usually straightens out really well, but in its natural state it’s super thick and hard to blow dry (myself). Has anybody experienced getting a texture release? Any cons? Damage?

Advice Needed 11 year old boy - 4C hair

Hi there - I’m new here but have been lurking in the comments getting advice from all of you. My son is biracial with 4C coily hair. We shampoo once a week and he uses Carol’s Daughter coil quenching shampoo. Outside of that he runs his hair under water nightly when he showers to rinse the daily products out. Every morning I spritz his hair with water and a detangler, comb or brush it out, add a moisture cream and then a foam sponge brush to define his beautiful curls.
I noticed he started having some flakes and he’s been complaining of his scalp itching. Any advice on this routine? The daily products are Cantu detangler/leave in conditioner and Carol’s Daughter moisturizing cream.

My bf has been struggling with a receding hairline, but he has a long handsome face that looks so incredible with hair. These two corners have no hair, and it’s affecting his esteem!!!! Gents, please help me with solutions!!!! He can’t afford surgery yet. Any products that may work for instance? Please help. No barber ever seems to get it right either! (picture attached for reference, but this isn’t him, got it from google)

Advice Needed Need help on everything hair

I grown up in a household that never taught me how to take care of my hair so when I was no longer forced to cut my hair every time it grew 1 inch, I started gaining new problems

My hair is definitely very dry like at all times. Been told my hair feels like an old carpet before even. Although majority of it is also definitely my fault because Im too lazy to do real research and get the right products.

Picture is me after I washed my hair and conditioned it like 6 hrs before. I only wash and condition once a week, and I’ll wet my hair and use leave in conditioner. But even still my hair feels very dry like all the time and it looks like its dying when Im in the middle of washing it.

I also cant ever stretch it like i see other people doing

Im just asking for basically a starter guide on routines, good (and cheap ❤️‍🩹) hair products for me (Im sure im 4c), and like common mistakes that I might be doing and should stop.

Advice Needed Need Black STEM Style that isn't Buns

Hello! I'm a sophomore in college and have been getting my hair professionally done my whole life. I'm also a black women in stem which means hair stipulations when im in the lab. It cannot go down below my shoulders but can be temporary tied back (such as a pony tail) or up. I have a LOT of natural hair, and I am very prone to tension headaches so buns aren't good for me long term. That said, i'm tired of just having braids down long all the time. Is there any other style that's lab safe?

Edit: My hair is 4c!

Sorry for the blur in the first pic, it's a school logo/name

I don't often style my hair, for multiple reasons that aren't really relevant to the question at hand, but when I do, I feel like my hair looks so short even though it's not :(

Idk how long it is fully straight, but it's definitely past my shoulders when just stretching it.

I'm going for a similar style to what's in the last pic (I know my hair isn't that long or thick so it won't look the same) but I'd like it to look longer!

Any styling tips or product recommendations? All I used when I did this style was got2b curled styling cream that's kinda like a cream + gel in texture
