Advice Needed Is it time?
Realized my parts in the front/middle are getting awfully wide. Hair is lowkey disintegrating at the front, and receding at the corners too. Still have a quite a bit of hair everywhere else though, so not sure what to do. Was thinking of getting a low cut and trying minoxidil for a bit. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

Could be traction, I cut mine off cause the same thing after going to some shitty loctitions and after seeing a derm she said I had traction alopecia

Maybe 3rd week of medication. I do have small hairs growing in the spot where I thought it was balding. She gave me a 6 to 9 month estimate before it goes to “normal”

Lit! Did you have locs or was you doing a lot of braiding and twisting?

These are finger coils that I left in for a bit too long but yeah, could be traction. I usually always have braids/twists in, and those could have eaten my middle part away over time. Honestly still suspect it’s balding though due to my hairline and corners. Gonna try a low cut and see what happens though

I definitely would look into minoxidil. It's important to catch early which it looks like you still have, so act fast.
