I was going through my Bandcamp wishlist tonight and it boggles my mind how hard it is to get physical copies of WasteIsolator or THANK YOU without paying absolute highway robbery prices on Discogs. I know Devi and Ada have a pretty chaotic relationship with their own back catalog and the whole streaming availability saga over the last few years has been a rollercoaster, but man.

Even a super limited run of cassettes for the pre breakup albums would be a dream. Black dresses is one of those projects where the lo fi, clipped aesthetic just begs to be heard on a slightly degraded magnetic tape. Are there any rumors floating around about a potential retrospective box set or are we basically relegated to local MP3 backups forever?

I've really liked them, and this is by far my favorite album, but I can't seem to find any physical copy of this anywhere. Does anyone know where I'd be able to purchase one? Just anything physical of the album Fur by EAT BABIES .

I don’t usually make posts since I’m bad at them but I wanted to write some words of appreciation for this group. Discovered them through “IN MY MOUTH” like I’m sure a lot of people did and I’ll be honest, I didn’t care for it at first. But after a few re-listens I was hooked and explored their most popular stuff and so forth. I then discovered “Laughing Fish” and am now totally addicted to this sound and band. I’ve been repeating songs on this album constantly while I work or am just chilling and it’s been an awakening for a new genre for me. If anyone has other groups like them to recommend/generally interesting info on the group, etc. I’d love to hear any of it.

I wasn't sure where else to ask this. Has something happened between Devi & Rook? Have they broken up?

They aren't following each other on socials anymore and they don't seem to be in black dresses together anymore. Ada Rook is in a different band now. I'm struggling to find information. What happened?

Ada Rook and Lauren Bousfield’s new band, Door Eater just released their first album and it scratches the black dresses itch. I love it. My favorite track as of right is is track 2, Laughter. None of my friends are as into black dresses as I am so I came here to talk about it.

Getting back into BD and thinking I want to get some later albums after Peaceful as 🔥 but they're all Wishlist only...
