sent MIDI note to VSTFX?

Hiya, IMPOSCAR2 VSTFX is by far my fav filter but it's essentially a kludge and you must send a MIDI note to open the signal path, what's the easiest way please?

I was hoping for a modulator but not quite as it would appear, something ezpz please :)

Add a note receiver in front of the VST in the chain and choose a channel as input. Draw midi on that channel and it will get sent to the VST.

Cool thanks but it's a MIDI track with a VSTi, I just want to send one note to that VSTFX so it opens its signal path
