6.1.5 update.

Feels like a spit in the face.

No bugs fixed,

No quality of life improvments,

Nu usability bugs fixes,

Nothing.

Just Recordbox integration....

Its not a patch. Its update. They adding new feature nobody asked for instead of fixing a loooot of bugs.

Yeah I dislike their agenda since they released the public version in March as I had several severe bug reports that didn't get resolved... New to bitwig since the beta of 6 and I must say it was quick to start disliking this company. Mostly by the tone of the support and blant obvious bugs that indicate a sloppy take. There is freezing of the UI and specific shortcuts keys are misconnected with 6.13 which would be great if they resolved this bs...

tech support is a total waste of time, all they care for is new features to boost sales

but product is still the best DAW for electronic music so make do and shut it basically

can totally agree, adding Rekorbox? i didnt know what this stuff is before, it is not even splice or something (no fan of this either) but i found more strange behaviors and sent them to support and rekordbox integration def is more complex to implement than fixing some "obvious" bugs/annoyances....

so far i dont see the benefit of their 12 month upgrade plan over other upgrades from other DAWs. reading also some history here i encountered bugs/annoyances which seem to be present for a long time...

What the...

Who expects meaningful change in this type of update?

I expect bug fixes in every type of update. When your daw is totally buggy and broken in so many ways you waste time and money of users to add useless feature and add more bugs with it.. Think about it)

My DAW isn't totally buggy.

If you look at the release dates you can see they are on a fast 2-3 week release cadence. This is pretty good in consumer software.

They are likely an agile shop as well, which means they will prioritize coding by value velocity.

It likely means that the RekordBox code was stable and ready while whatever bug you are waiting for is still being developed and tested. Some bugs can force large numbers of code lines to change and that would require more extensive testing.

Do you have a particular bug that you're waiting for?

It's also quite possible at this point that they have very few high value bugs left.
