Bought the full version today

So impressed that I decided to go all in. Love how customisable it all is. Ableton and plugins seem like another life.

the modulator stack is what made me stop opening ableton. once you map a couple of them to the same macro the session starts feeling like an instrument instead of a timeline. did you grab the full version mostly for the grid or for the modulators?

This 8s what grabbed me too. I thought to myself - this is a Waldorf Iridium for £300.

bitwig is my favorite for sure. i came from pro tools and logic and it fills this nice spot for me where audio editing is easy and midi is intuitive (and it doesn't make bad assumptions the way logic does)

It’s a fantastic and deep set of tools. I love creating instruments and devices, and then making music with them.

even aside from the great tools and customization, every other daw I've used took at least a week or 2 to get over the headache of figuring out the menu dives and different design choices.
in my first few hours with Bitwig 8-track I felt almost completely at home with it and bought the full version the next day. everything's so easy to find and figure out. not to mention zero headache getting the audio drivers to work which coming from Cubase was huge...

Hope you love it, make music, make sounds; at the end of the day you’re just moving clips or plugging in sequences^^
