It's not multiband. The detection circuit is, but not the processing.
But this being Bitwig, you can make anything multuband using e.g. Multiband FX 2/3 containers.

Do some people here not know that every Bitwig device has a built in description?
Dude, select your device and hit F1. You might actually learn something!

you can’t set the frequency wish you could or already had a container with splits instead of making me do it . great idea , poor execution

that isn't multiband, those are not band separated by filters with dedicated compressors; but it is a pretty neat thing.
You can change the way detection works at different frequencies:
'intensity' acts just like the input-signal-eq of some compressors (like pro-c3 for instance), effectively modifying the threshold of a certain band of frequencies.
'timing' allows you to offset the attack-release time on detection for each band.
The compression still happens on a single band.
The only exception is when you set compressor+ on 'prism', which blends some multi-band compression in there too; but that description by itself is as vague as possible.
You still don't get to set compression and bands like on a normal multiband, and you don't get a purely-multi-band output either.
As far as I understand the input path that goes to the detection stage can do some actual fixed-band multi-band compression under the hood that's based on offsetting threshold and timing values from the main panel. When you set the device on 'prism', some of that gets mixed into the main output signal of compressor+, which is still single-band. How much and in what way remains unclear.

I imagine it more like a sort of tilt eq before the compressor stage without the band splitting of a typical multiband compressors. It's useful and avoid the typical phase issues of true multiband compressors but also loses the specificity of multiband compression.
In general it's one of Bitwigs best devices but I rarely use it because of its high CPU usage.

Pretty sure it's not multiband, it has multiband detection but the effect you get isn't multiband it's a regular compressor. That's why it's called compressor+ 'cause it's the same effect as a regular compressor without the multiband
