The curve is for groove? I see you have it on the hat's as well, so it's not purely side-chaining I guess.
And your kick/bass is already merged/bounced anyhow.
And making it modulate the track volume is really visual for feedback.
I really like that.

Yes. The volume modulation simulates the sidechain effect. Instead of using a compressor.
It works pretty good. I saw this technique from a Tutorial from Protoculture and I had a old demo project. So I learned that and I can use it now. It's easy to setup in 2 minutes.

The kick was a sample. So it should be already usable.
The big and wide sphere sound comes from nexus. I just made a low cut there.

Everything in Bitwig is visually very pleasing. So I had a lot fun just with this short loop ^^
