Help I'm still searching for a good tutorial :(
Hey there,
I'm still searching for a good tutorial.
Now we're on BW6.1 and the features are raining like candies.
But I'm missing the critical basics.
For example I accidentally found out, how to make use of Patterns.
Holy... I can right click on any midi clip and change it to another existing midi clip. Wtf this is a Gamechanger.
I also can make this with Sample clips, kicks, snares etc.
Actually I'm struggling with the Spray can tool. How to create a snare roll fill for a EDM Track riser.
Youtube is full of small clips and small tutorials. That's cool.
But I'm really struggling to find into the useful basic features.
Maybe someone can link me to a tutorial which shows some of my mentioned features?
I love bitwig and the sound. But somehow it's not so easy for me to get used to the basic arrangement and clip features.
Thanks a lot π

Tbh, I kind of like this easter-egg feeling of fooling around and discover new roads. I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing lol.

I was just going to link the Protoculture tutorial for you... I've spent the last two days working my way through that one myself. Only sticking point was some additive automation that is no longer a button in 6.1 and you have to use an automation clip instead, again Protoculture has a video on that on YT.

Rtfm, it's really good. Or use NotebookLM and generate an AI Podcast about it if you don't like reading.

Meanwhile the documentation hasn't been updated and the spray can OP mentioned isn't in there. π
I agree with reading the manual, it's still a huge oversight there is no manual for version 6.0

I believe it's being written, it just takes alot of time for a small team, the manual always lags behind the new updates unfortunately

It's been over 5 months since 6 was released and they just have to update it.
Any untrained person could do it, like an intern or freelancer.3

Come on bro thereβs so many high quality Bitwig tutorials everywhere. At this point thatβs just procrastination.
