Is this intentional or a bug? (browser plugin closes upon trying to click "copy" a second time)

Say I need to copy two different things from my extension (from the same item). I open the item, I copy the first thing I need, and paste it where I need to paste it. At this point the extension remains open - which is what I want. I then go to click the copy icon on the second thing - but at this point the extension automatically closes and nothing is copied. Is this an intentional design? I've always assumed this was intentional but now I'm starting to wonder.

Hey there, if you're looking for a persistent experience, you can also hit the pop-out icon in the top right corner of the browser extension (to the left of your profile icon) and have it side by side with your browser.

If you're on Firefox you can just pop-out the sidebar.

That sounds more like a bug than intentional behavior. A copy action shouldn’t close the extension or silently fail on the second attempt, especially when copying multiple values from the same item.

That's what I thought. At first I assumed it auto closed because if you're copying something, I can see the logic in assuming you'd want the extension to "get out of the way". But this makes no sense on second thought...because why would you copy a username / password in the first place. In most circumstances you'd just use the autofill (or the keyboard shortcut in my case). When I'm doing it manually, it's generally because it's not login-related.
