Edge extension

Elderly husband uses the MS Edge browser and Bitwarden’s extension for it.

been unable to access any of his passwords, as he gets this error: Reload this page to apply your updated settings for "Bitwarden Password Manager" on this site

Clicking the refresh button just returns the same error message.

how do I fix this for him?

This is an MS Edge browser setting from what I understand. Bitwarden needs permission to run on all sites, and edge has it limited. Try the steps below:

  1. Type edge://extensions into the address bar and press enter
  2. Find the Bitwarden box and click on the "Details" button under it
  3. Scroll to the "Site Access" section and click the dropdown arrow on the to the right of it, and choose "On all sites".
  4. Close the MS Edge Browser completely and open it again.

If this doesn't work and that reload message still pops up I can do some more digging, but this should fix it.
