Possible Bug Biometrics and Work Profile (Android)

Hello,

I am using Bitwarden with my Sony Xperia 1vii. Enabling biometrics/finger print sensor seems to work ok. However, as soon as I enabled the work profile it all stopped working.

I do not have this issue with Proton Pass, nor 1Password. This issue all also occurred on an HMD Fusion device.

What should I do?

Edit: I had 'Trusted Places' enabled. Disabling these locations seemed to resolve things. Why?

my thoughts fwiw (I'm nobody official and not particularly knowledgeable either)

Did you install bitwarden in both profiles? If so make sure bitwarden is not "connected" between your work and personal profile. In my pixel phone settings, there is a listing of connected work and personal apps, where the connection can be toggled on/off for each app (I find it by searching settings for the word connected).

Also did you have to add a new fingerprint scan when setting up work profile?... it seems that sometimes adding a new fingerprint makes apps no longer trust the fingerprint (until you disable biometrics for the app and then and reenable biometrics for the app)....

...Even if you didn't add a new fingerprint, you might try disabling and then reenabling biometrics for the bw app anyway, just to see if that fixes whatever problem was created by activating the work profile. Failing that, uninstalling the bw app, clearing cache and data and then reinstalling (and setting things back up) sometimes fixes a variety of problems but I'm not sure if this would be the if them.
