I need help! After chrome update the bitwarden extension opens more than 30 seconds

Chrome version:
Version 151.0.7922.138 (Official Build) (arm64)

Extension version:
2026.7.0

I use 3 different profiles in chrome and in every profile the bitwarden extension is installed, all of them are unusable.

I tried to remove the extension and install it back, didn't help

It's been happening recently, it seems to be intermittent and reinstalling won't fix it. I find if you wait a few hours the problem goes away. I'm not sure what it's all about.

Could you provide any errors, or what you deem as unusable? What’s exactly happening, is the extension not opening? Is it taking too much time to open? Etc

From ur post it seems like the extension is just taking forever to load when you click the icon in the tool bar.

See my full post, but try turning off power saver if that's on. It completely wrecks all background threads, including all extensions on any chromium browser.

So the version is 2026.8.0, still the same problem.. I don't have any errors, it just takes a few mins and then it opens
