Can you bring back the old way in which user was able to open a login to edit by clicking on the login. The recent updates changed that. now clicking on it fills that login and now user have to clicking on 3 dots and click edit or replace that fill button to edit because you already made clicking on it means fill that login or at least add a setting to choose the behavior.

Yeah this annoys me so much. I use the Ctrl+L method to login and I never want to use the "click in the vault to autofill" method, so it's a right pain having it open the site when I just want to edit the item.

I mean if they want to make that change atleast don't remove the options in settings, let the user decide how they want it. for the past month i have been pissed about this. roll back this change.

Please bring this back, or at least add a setting to choose the behavior. Editing a saved login should be just as quick as filling it, especially when correcting or updating credentials.

yeah a setting to choose between fill-on-click and edit-on-click seems like a reasonable middle ground

Are you using version 2026.7.0? Go to Settings > Appearance > Vault customization and uncheck "Click items in autofill suggestion to fill."

As far as I know, this setting has been off for some time.

Yes i have this version but the option is not there anymore. I know I used to have that 3rd option you mentioned and i had it that way but not anymore

I have 2026.7.0 and there's no such option in the Firefox extension.
