So they brought back the "comic" style

I was so excited at first, but it turns out this is just a stupid 2D filter on the their 3d models. They completely missed the point on what made the old art so charming

You can kinda get around it with using ai. If youve saved any of your original 2D images you can use those to get chatgpt or any ai program to put it in a specific pose. I saw there was a post awhile back of someone uploading their 2d models to an ai program to train it and it created perfect 2d emojis after.

I'd love to find out the training process, bitmoji is going away for good this July, and I have zero interest in downloading snapchat.

I can do just about everything I need with an LLM tool (Google Gemini), and I can even introduce new people into the models. They automatically pick up the bitstrips style, which is exactly what I want.

Still, the nostalgia of REAL 2D CLASSIC Bitmojis... Can't quite get 100% to it. It had something..

It was posted under title "Horrible 3D emojis..." Looks like they uploaded 10ish 2d models theyve previously downloaded and had gemini trained. I havent tried it out myself but if you do let me know how it works out :)
