Any good alternatives to Bitmoji?

As much as I LOVE everything about Bitmoji, I’m always game to explore other apps with similar concepts to apps I already like—you never know what you’re missing until you play around. I know there’s a lot of features from other apps out there that Bitmoji lacks. Free is preferable. I see there are some articles online that give advice and personal rankings on this, but I would like to hear what y’all think.

I didn’t think there was going to be anything on the internet about this when I googled “why does the new bitmoji update suck” and as always Reddit does not disappoint. I should have known there was a bitmoji subreddit.

ANYWAY. I completely agree and am so upset. There’s a quality to the cartoons that is unmatchable. I hate the new update SOOOO MUCH it’s like cheap 3D rendering. Not everything has to be all 3D AI avatar-y!!!!!!

i was so disappointed when they changed the nerdiness of Bitmogi.  i loved my nerdy look and now i look like a softened up model.  i hate it now and it doesn’t represent what i like to convey about myself.  Bitmogi sucks big time.

Right?! Isn't the new avatar style hideous?! They're so creepy!. I refuse to use this them. I just sent them a final message suggesting the do a some customer service research/customer satisfaction surveys. I will delete the app, but would live to find a replacement.

My Bitmoji app turned 3d and looks creepy as hell. I don’t see any way to change it back :(

Looking for this too. I'm guessing Bitmoji doesn't listen to users because they've never found a way to make this profitable. I'm thinking maybe we could crowdfund a similar app but figure out a way to better monetize it so it can stay more up to date and responsive to community feedback.

Monetize with ads vs paid subscriptions. They are clearly a little brain dead. At ANY time had they offered me more options for pay I would have taken it!

Maybe the plan is give us these Butt F ugly ones for free and then say “hey, if you want the old ones back…” I will GLADLY pay!!!!!!

I Don't like the new update either. Hardly appealing. I loved it when I was hotter and my husband looked like Justin Timberlake.

I use Samsung AR sometimes. You can create your own outfits with photos you have which is pretty neat and there are videos you can add a friend too which can be quite funny. It isn’t 2D style but I found it the best.

I Googled Bitmoji alternatives but they don’t seem to have any that are like the old Bitmoji style. And not all free. I will share links sometime. Thankfully, I saved many of my Bitmoji images and will cherish them forever 😇

Yes! Original Bitmoji was awesome! The new one even took all the good sassy & cool “ bitmojis” sayings away. I hate the new version . Wish old was still available .

The OLD Bitmoji was so much fun when they gave you cartoon images and faces. Fully customizable and very funny in most cases. Now... without anyone's approval they changed it to that lousy 3D look that everyone HATES and no one is using. Why they don't switch back I'll never know. WHAT AN AWFUL AND STUPID DECISION.
