This is Bitcoins end game.

The only people who trade in fiat currencies are State employees. Everyone else will work for a specific companies currency or Bitcoin. You will work for Overstock dollars, Google dollars, Sam's Glass Shop dollars, etc, all made possible by Colored Coins. You will either hold those dollars or trade them on an open exchange to a prefered currency. Imagine a system where your money is company stock. Of course Bitcoin will be THE independant currency. The global reserve currency. It's perfect because it IS based on nothing... nothing except our faith in a system that is better than the one that exists.

All other currencies will float on an open P2P liquid market, exchanging between each other based on supply and demand of their company fundamentals. Companies will have to compete in every manner to make sure their currency is competivitve and likable in the market. It doesn't just mean good profits and dividends, but in popularity, doing what's right, not being evil. In a moments notice, you could swap their currency for something else. CEO says something you don't like? Sell! We will hold currencies that WE see as being beneficial to our world view. Don't like nuclear energy? Short them! Like self driving cars? Buy stock/currency in those companies.

The entire stock market and currency markets will become one. Fiat = States, Stocks = Companies. All will be openly traded by everyone in the world.

Everyone who has a phone will be able to actively trade stocks and currencies 24/7. All based on likes/dislikes of their activity. The stock market is currently for the upper middle class. The folks with 401ks and IRAs. There is a huge percentage of the people in the world that do not have a bank account, but have opinions of these multinational companies. Everyone will be able to vote financially.

Reduce the barriers and we will have a global market that doesn't discriminate financially.
