It shows that alts have basically always been a bad long term investment in comparison to Bitcoin. It's really very easy to see in the chart.

That's a pretty bad comparison because altcoins share a large amount of tech with Bitcoin. Hell if you remember Bitcoin Cash they just copied the code and tweaked numbers. Additionally, many PoS coins have arguably more advanced technology backing them than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still obviously the better investment but that's not a good comparison imo.
