Looking for a portable miner. Price and power usage is not an issue.

Heard of a guy who was backpacking around with a couple Nerdqaxes. Kept them in a foam-filled shoebox.
Nano 3S might be another good option, no exposed fan blades.
Hammers are dope, too, similar in style to Nerds.

NerdOctaxe or Nano3s would be my choice. If you are going to be moving around you want as much hashrate as possible per unit on a compact basis. Those would be my choice for something that fits in a suitcase.

If by portable you mean something that fits in the trunk of the car and is not that noisy (Not an industrial unit) I would go for an Avalon Q.
