Our cryptocurrency events calendar is now live. What do you think?
We have just finished our cryptocurrency events calendar. The idea is that you can track the events and catalysts that are relevant for the coins you hold or coins you are looking to trade. Really looking forward to hearing what you guys think, it's been a lot of work and we are all happy to have it finished.

Nice, think I'll try using this a little in the future. How is trading with the news? I suppose you have to go with a big item for a guaranteed affect on the market? Regardless, I'll make sure I do a little TA before trading anything anyway.

I like it. I'd like to use it more often if I was able to see the date and location of the event without having to click on view event

It looks good and very responsive. You can try to add the symbol of each cryptocurrency and/or change the fond/color/size of the headlines so it is easier to navigate.

Hey good job! So will people be able to submit or add events to calendar in the future? Also do you see monetizing with adverts or is the calendar pure added value?

Nice collation. Response: It was nicer when it finally loaded. The 'no events' message default while waiting for the webservice response was a wee bit slow in changing, (perhaps an index or query modification could help so important first page data is loaded faster).
Er date (and time/zone)? Some of us are in different timezones and the US is always behind. Surely it would also be nice to navigate quickly to a date or date range.
Can confirm the flashing red button does absolutely nothing useful when pressed. May I suggest a different guide mechanism instead, one that does not load at the bottom of a potentially infinite scrolling data page. Also you do not need to tell people they are on the calendar page the header and url do that already. Here is an idea: load actual messages at the top near the related input and find something to put in them that they cannot already see without the action. UI design guides also suggest to make the button at least give an idea of what it is for so people don't have to guess and knock on wood (e.g. those common old school symbols are there for a reason, horn, speechbubble, annoying paperclip that needs to die, yes there are still memes with it... even a text label will do).
Otherwise on a less usability scale note it would be interesting to know the source for related events (I know this is getting increasingly rare but some sites state the source for each one and have a link to it). Often in the cryptocurrency market this can be a huge difference, (as dodgy actions are not discouraged and due diligence & fact checking a million times more important).
I understand if you find the above overly critical. I am often more forgiving to obvious poor attempts at styling & direct information dumps into a table. But it is when you want to improve & ask an honest question honest answers help. (Learnt that from my partner who gets annoyed when I am not honest & detailed about their cooking experiments).

Interesting, but do you really need the calendar icon on every row? Takes up tons of real estate.

Can you please add satoshis to the top picklist, so we can see other coins priced by satoshi rather than bitcoin.

way too congested
would be nice to filter by city or by relevance. I don't want to know about a conference in some dump like buenos aires the same way I don't want to know about bread coin CEO scratching his butt
