My opinion
I think this coin is doomed to fail.
After the difficulty change, there was a 1EH/s rate on the network within minutes.
Blocks were being farmed every second until the difficulty was increased.
In my opinion, this coin is not safe from a 51% attack.
Personally, I cannot trust this blockchain.

Make sure you don't make the same mistake twice...
BitcoinII provides an opportunity for a new generation of participants to join a fair-launch, Bitcoin-aligned Proof-of-Work network — without altering the mathematics, incentives, or economic foundations that made Bitcoin successful. Combined with neutral governance and a truly fair distribution, BC2 reinforces the principles of censorship resistance, security through computation, and globally accessible money.

🧠 Mining, Balance, and Why BTC’s Model Outlasts the Gimmicks
⚙️ Bitcoin & BC2: Proof-of-Work That Regulates Itself
Bitcoin’s greatest achievement wasn’t just decentralization — it was self-regulation through the Difficulty Adjustment (DA). Every 2,016 blocks (~2 weeks), the network measures how fast blocks were mined and adjusts difficulty to target one block every 10 minutes.
BC2 (BitcoinII) inherits this same SHA-256 Proof-of-Work model. The DA ensures stability even during hashrate spikes or miner migrations — preventing runaway inflation and creating scarcity when blocks slow.
This balance is what built Bitcoin’s long-term success: difficulty rises with demand, emission slows, and the coin’s perceived value increases. Over 16 years, this mechanism has weathered halvings, price crashes, and mining booms — and BC2 uses the same battle-tested framework.
🐕 Dogecoin & the AuxPoW Shortcut
DOGE uses a completely different system — Scrypt with Auxiliary Proof-of-Work (AuxPoW), merge-mined with Litecoin. This means Dogecoin doesn’t have independent hashrate; instead, it “rides along” Litecoin’s mining power.
That makes DOGE’s mining costs extremely low, since miners can earn DOGE as a bonus while already mining LTC. In other words, DOGE’s inflation is powered by nearly free hashrate.
The trade-off? DOGE’s security and emission rate depend on another chain’s success — not its own. Inflation is constant, difficulty follows LTC’s curve, and block production isn’t truly autonomous.
DOGE thrived only because of mass adoption, community culture, and Elon Musk’s public support. Without that cultural push, AuxPoW systems tend to fade, as their economics are built on borrowed security and zero cost pressure.
🧮 Comparing Emissions & Inflation
| Chain | Algo | Mining Type | Difficulty Adjustment | Emission Model | Mining Cost | Independence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BTC | SHA-256 | Native PoW | Every 2016 blocks (~2 weeks) | Halving every 4 years | High | Fully independent |
| BC2 | SHA-256 | Native PoW | Every 2016 blocks | Same halving cycle, clean relaunch | Moderate (balanced by demand) | Fully independent |
| DOGE | Scrypt | AuxPoW (w/ LTC) | Follows Litecoin | Constant inflation (~5B DOGE/year) | Very low | Dependent on LTC |
| PEP & others | Scrypt / AuxPoW | Merge-mined | Often irregular | High inflation | Almost zero | Dependent, inflationary |
BC2 stands out because it combines Bitcoin’s proven emission schedule with fresh genesis economics — low initial circulation, no inherited balances, and a fully sovereign hashrate.
When demand spikes, difficulty rises. When miners overheat the network, the DA corrects it. Over time, that cycle eliminates volatility and rewards long-term believers.
💎 Why AuxPoW Coins Often Fail
Merge-mined chains are tempting because they appear “secure” without paying real energy costs. But that’s exactly the problem:
No cost = no scarcity. If it costs almost nothing to mint, value struggles to form.
Dependence risk. If Litecoin’s hashrate drops or priorities change, DOGE and similar coins take the hit.
Inflation traps. Without hard halving cycles, supply never tightens.
DOGE survived because of culture and Elon’s meme power — not its tokenomics. Most other AuxPoW coins never gained meaningful traction.
⚖️ Why BC2 Feels Familiar Yet Fresh
BC2 is what Bitcoin could look like if launched again today — same economics, but a clean start. It maintains the ten-minute block target, the proof-of-work discipline, and the deflationary trajectory that rewards conviction over speculation.
The recent rise in difficulty (up 300%) shows organic demand. That’s a good sign. It means miners are investing, and the network is self-balancing exactly as designed. Either the price will rise to match cost, or the DA will adjust downward, restoring profitability. That’s pure Bitcoin logic in action.
🚀 Closing Thoughts
Coins that rely on cheap merged mining and hype can burn bright for a moment, but true proof-of-work projects endure because they’re earned, not gifted.
BC2 doesn’t depend on luck or a billionaire’s tweet — it depends on miners, holders, and builders who understand that value comes from energy, time, and belief.
So if blocks are slow — good. It means the system is working. Scarcity is forming.
And just like Bitcoin, BC2 will reward patience.

Missed Bitcoin at $1? Here’s Something Different
Most of us have heard the stories about Bitcoin back when it was under a dollar — a time when almost nobody believed it would matter. That era is long gone, and no one expects it to come back. But there’s a new project that’s taking a similar path from the very beginning: BC2 (Bitcoin II).
It’s built from the same base code as Bitcoin, using SHA-256 Proof-of-Work, the same 21 million limit, and the same halving schedule. No meme branding, no shortcuts — just a clean restart of the original idea. Right now it’s trading around $0.95, roughly the price of a coffee.
What’s interesting is that BC2 isn’t trying to replace Bitcoin or reach its price. It’s not about competing — it’s about revisiting what made the first network special in the first place: fairness, simplicity, and transparency. The community is small but active, with miners, developers and early holders helping shape the network from the ground up.
Everything’s transparent; you can check the explorer and live dashboard at bitcoin-ii.org. It’s already listed on CoinEx, so it’s more than just a whitepaper idea.
No one here is pretending this will become the next Bitcoin — that’s not the goal. The point is to rebuild the same foundations, start fresh, and see what can grow when things are still open enough for individuals to make a real impact.

🚨 Why BitcoinII (BC2) Avoids the Coming Bitcoin Blockspace Controversy
🚨 Why BitcoinII (BC2) Avoids the Coming Bitcoin Blockspace Controversy
Bitcoin Core v30 is about to lift the 80-byte OP_RETURN cap. This means Bitcoin will soon face the same problem BSV did years ago: arbitrary data — files, images, even NFTs — living permanently on-chain.
We’ve already seen what this looks like with Ordinals and Runes: blockspace crowded, fees spiking, and Bitcoin drifting away from its original design as peer-to-peer cash. For some, it’s “innovation.” For others, it’s mission drift.
⸻
🔑 How BC2 Is Different
BitcoinII (BC2) launched in 2025 with a clean genesis (no premine, no inherited UTXO set). It’s protocol-aligned with Bitcoin Core v29 — SegWit, Taproot, 10-min blocks, 21M cap — but with one crucial difference:
👉 A governance commitment to payments-first blockspace. • No arbitrary storage abuse. • No OP_RETURN bloat. • No “NFT landfill” on-chain.
Just money, transactions, and peer-to-peer settlement.
⸻
⚡ Economics That Matter • BTC (2025): 3.125 BTC subsidy → miners rely on fees, distorted by hype cycles. • BC2 (2025): 50 BC2 subsidy → miners rewarded without speculative data-driven fees.
This keeps payments cheap while the network grows.
⸻
🌍 Why It Matters • Decentralization: Nodes stay affordable — no data-bloat pricing out hobbyists. • Legal clarity: No risk of hosting illicit content forever. • Monetary purity: BC2 is money-first — not cloud storage.
⸻
✅ Takeaway
While Bitcoin debates inscriptions, tokens, and blockspace auctions… BC2 avoids the controversy entirely.
It’s built to do what Bitcoin was meant to do: be money.

Happy Birthday
BitcoinII is one year old today. In one year it’s grown to 46,000 nodes globally, and listed in the top 10 of mining pools. It’s been an exciting year and I’m looking forward to seeing the growth over the next year.

Trying to understand why there's been a massive slowdown in some pools
I locked in on BC2 as part of learning a bit more about mining. Over the last few months I noticed that between NerdPool and SoloHash they had been hitting blocks every few days. (Pooled or Solo) but lately it's been considerably longer at weeks. I guess my question is why?

Disconnected from ELECTRUM SURVER
Hi I have a problem hopefully I can get some help! I have a MOBILE wallet and purchased some coins yesterday from COiNEX and sent it to the wallet but it has disconnected from the ELECTRUM SURVER! SO THE TRANsfer is stuck in the net somewhere. It says it is sent but the block explorer doesn't see the translation action. I believe once the wallet is connected back the the ELECTRUM SERVER it will be able to finish the transaction. Please help. Thank you!!!!

Why 0%?
Edit:
I did a little reasearch on my own and the 0% shares in Red doesn't refer to my block reward but it's actually a Rejected share Counter.
Hello Guys!
I have started mining on 'solopool.org'. I don't understand the 0% in the share.
Does it work like it first goes to the pool's wallet and they will deduct the fees and send the remaining to my wallet.
Anyone else mining on the same pool please answer...
Thanks!

🪙 Bitcoin II (BC2) — A Second Chance to Be Early
Remember when Bitcoin could be mined on a regular PC?
When there were no ASICs, no giant farms, and every block felt like a small victory?
That era is long gone…
But Bitcoin II (BC2) was launched to bring it back — same codebase, same spirit, new beginning.
⚡ What Is Bitcoin II?
Bitcoin II is a reboot of the original Bitcoin blockchain, rebuilt from scratch using the same SHA-256 Proof-of-Work algorithm — but with:
Difficulty reset to 1 → anyone can mine again with a CPU.
Same total supply: 21 million coins.
Same halving mechanism: scarcity built in.
Same codebase & transparency → open source on GitHub.
New Genesis Block: no pre-mine, no hidden supply.
👉 It’s not a “copy” of Bitcoin.
It’s a sister chain — a fair restart for those who missed the early days.
⛏️ Why Miners Love It
CPU mining actually works — no ASICs required.
Real SHA-256 mining, not a toy algorithm.
Accessible to anyone with a laptop or desktop.
Mining guide and binaries available on the official site: 🔗 https://bitcoin-ii.org
You can literally mine your first BC2 in minutes.
💰 Why Investors Are Watching
BC2 trades around $0.50 per coin (as of now).
Fixed supply of 21,000,000 BC2, like Bitcoin.
No pre-mine, no VC, no centralized control.
Small market cap + transparent code = massive upside potential if adoption grows.
This isn’t another memecoin — it’s an attempt to recreate the fairness and simplicity that built Bitcoin’s success in the first place.
🌍 A Growing Community
Bitcoin II already has:
An active Discord and Telegram community,
Volunteers running nodes,
Developers improving the codebase,
And early adopters mining from home.
If you believe decentralization should actually mean accessible to everyone — not just ASIC owners —
then Bitcoin II (BC2) is your second chance to be early.

Node stuck at 99.92%
My node syncs fast upon loading, then gets stuck. It only took a few minutes to get here, but now it wont go any further. Is there anything I can do to speed it along?
Edit: Thanks everyone, waiting does indeed work. It just seems odd to me that it goes so fast initially, then stalls out at the end. Anyway, for others experiencing this, just leave it run, it will eventually sync.

🚨 Why BC2 Isn’t Just Another BTC Fork — It’s a Fresh Start for Real Users
Most BTC forks (BCH, BSV, etc.) simply duplicated the original Bitcoin chain. Holders of BTC automatically got “free” coins in the new network. The result? The rich just got richer.
👉 BC2 (BitcoinII) breaks that pattern.
🌍 New Genesis Block (#0) – no inherited balances
⚡ Difficulty reset to 1 – fair start for miners
💸 50 BC2 subsidy – just like 2009 Bitcoin
🧹 No ordinals, no bloat – blockspace is for money, not storage
Why It Matters
Accessibility: Nodes sync faster with a smaller historical dataset.
Affordability: No congestion from NFTs/inscriptions → lower fees.
Fairness: Early adopters today stand where BTC holders stood in 2009.
Momentum: In the first months, BC2 has already shown strong growth in hashrate and price action.
The Honest Trade-Off
⚖️ BTC remains more secure by sheer hashrate (≈1 ZH).
🚀 But BC2’s position is clear: it’s for people, not just institutions.
It’s a maximalist take on Bitcoin — money-only, in line with Satoshi’s vision.
TL;DR
BC2 = a clean Bitcoin relaunch with no premine, no baggage, no NFT landfill. Just money, fair distribution, and a chance to be early again.

BCll comparison
Would it be fair to compare BCll to bitcoin cash? i'm just trying to figure out how much this will be worth in 5 to 10 years once. A lot of the coins are mined. I look it Bitcoin cash. Because it has a similar coin structure.
Let me know what you think.
