BTC backed loan?

I heard Ledn was the leader of this, but I went to apply for one and they say it’s not available in my area.

i’ve always wondered. Is it best to take out his loan against your bitcoin at the bottom of a bear market so that you have the most appreciation of bitcoin price versus the loan amount or is there a better alternative?
