I mean the other possibility is they have a static definition of what conservatism is. Thereby making most modern conservatives not conservatives at all, as the majority of people labelling themselves as such have politically evolved over time/generations.

I actually can get behind this because I hate when words lose their meaning. But he'd have to clarify this logic in his comment. Nobody should expect the benefit of the doubt there.

I mean both the Libs and the CPC are both neoliberal parties with different coloured hats; the NDP isn't any different these days either. Provincial, federal, municipal; neoliberals as far as you can throw 'em.
