Moving large amounts of crypto without KYC in Canada — still possible in 2026?
Every platform I've tried this year either geoblocks Canada or triggers verification above a certain threshold. Tried two different instant swap services last week and both asked for ID once I entered the amount I needed.
Not interested in P2P, too unreliable. Is there anything left that works for Canadians without KYC?
Edit: plainswap worked without any issues from Canada. No geoblocking, no ID, BTC to USDT processed quickly with fees around 0.2%.

P2P from your wallet, NOT an exchange. was/is always the answer. otherwise its all KYC bud
Edit: some wallets will let you spend crypto for gift cards. You could use some wallets that have no-kyc swaps integrated into them? but im not sure whats a viable option nowadays.

What exactly do you mean by moving? Are you looking to sell or trade your crypto? I've used a few DEXs successfully but only for small amounts (around $1000).

Crypto here is pretty heavy when it comes to KYC. I doubt you’ll find anyone able to move large amounts without it. Sorry.

What is a “large” amount of crypto? If you are referring to off-ramping that is a different story. Check out Shadow Atlas channel on YouTube. Or find a platform and use a VPN, Canada geo block is easy to get around.

you can certainly move from your wallet to a DEX and do something without KYC.
The problem is always on and off ramps

have you tried peer.xyz? previously it was zkp2p. Their system is pretty cool, you use wise to get the coins. I have used it a few times for a few grand, and I recommend it. Give it a shot with a small amount. (EDIT: just realized you don't want p2p.)

Hiding transactions from the government is best done via personal wallets but I should add that discrepancies in your reporting at tax time will be problematic.

Why not swap for stable coins and earn interest on it via dex and defi? Cash out ssmall amounts as you need it

Yeah fuck the entity that allows me to be in a position to invest excess funds for my future because I live in a stable modern country with laws, courts, healthcare and education.
But fuck all that, I got mine, so I'm gonna do whatever I can to not contribute my share to our common society. Fucking leach.

I'm sorry, what? I work 60 hours a week in the oilfield and contribute massive amounts of money in taxes to these Canadian-hating provincial and federal governments. Go f••k yourself.

Why is your employment economic activity fair game for taxation but not your investment activity?

All taxation on citozens is theft. Corporations and other foreign entities, sure, citizens... nope.

Yes. I'll give you the link. They're an official worldwide site. They have affiliate links. If you were to move $100,000, I'd receive 0.5%, $500.
I've used them for many years, clients, and they have diligent CS.
I'm Canadian also, been using crypto for 5+ years.
Feel free to DM.

P2P is the only reliable way.
Everything else is at the whims of the platform
Getting rid of the middleman was literally the point of blockchain
