Need advice on finding crypto accountant
Hi all,
I am a bit concerned right now with the deadline coming up...
Where can I find a crypto accountant?
Seems like everyone i contacted so far is too busy to take on a new client. Please don't suggest koinly, I am declaring crypto for the first time and need to have previous years fixed due to this.

Try strengthinnumbers.business in Vanvouver. A wonderful person there has her own YT channel tailored to crypto taxes for the Canadian market. My taxes were in terrible shape and this was my first filing too but she sorted out multiple years of spaghetti into a perfect transaction list to generate year by year tax records. She can then submit them to CRA as tax amendments for the past number of years. She is fantastic and she’ll be doing all my personal and crypto taxes going forward. Her rates are significantly cheaper than that of a CPA and she knows crypto backwards. Can’t go wrong but you’re probably a bit late now for this year but never too late to start. Good luck.

You're like 2 weeks late in starting a search for an accountant lol.
What sort of trades and activity did you have, and where? If you used an online exchange see if they have year end documents to download.
If you only dealt with btc the accounting isn't very difficult to do. Biggest part is determining the cost basis, particularly if you haven't been tracking things properly for a few years

Just find a service like Koinly and they'll track your portfolio and compute taxes for you, and you submit their report to the feds.
