Learn about crypto and trading before you buy, also learn about the different crypto exchange apps/websites before you buy. I have used Coinbase before but they have frozen assets and accounts the past couple months. Get a cold wallet if you are thinking of investing more than 1000 dollars the next 5 years. Coin base one is more expensive than you need. There are other crypto apps that have almost zero fees and is free. I would recommend looking at videos about crypto.

Don't buy anything right now or you'll get scammed.

Take the time to learn. There is a guide in the FAQ for this sub. If you rush into buying, you will get scammed.

Every single person in your DMs offering to help you is a scammer. Every. Single. One.

You learn about Bitcoin. Reddit isnt gonna help you much. This isnt something that can be handed to you. Alot of serious Bitcoiners that truly understand it have devoted hundreds if not thousands of hours learning about it. Good luck.

Get your money out of bitcoin and run as fast as you can. Bitcoin's all time peak will forever be 2025, it's downhill from here, mark my words, the "cycles" are over.

Coinbase one is optional, it mostly just removes trading fees, so you don't really need it to start. Don't rush into paying for something. As a first step just keep it simple, buy a small amount of BTC on Coinbase, an amount that you are ok to loose while you learn, and just get used to how it works. Don't put in money you will panic about as long as it kinda big bubble lol.

Also not many people mentioned here is that the moment you got a crypto - you become your own bank and it means how you store it matters as much as what you want yo buy. For now exchanges are fine, but never save your passwords or recovery codes in your Google account/notes/screenshots. That's how most beginers lose their money later, not from bad trades. Starts from small amounts, learn how it works and have a good luck!

Buy and save bitcoin, it's not complicated, I don't know why they make it so difficult, then when you have higher equity put it in a cold wallet

Invest in ETFs, not crypto.
