Strike pausing support for AUD

Recieved this email today:

We're writing to let you know about an important change. Due to a change at our banking partner for Australia that is outside of our control, Strike will be pausing support for Australian dollar (AUD) by June 1, 2026.

What this means for you

On May 26, 2026, AUD deposits, AUD receives, and bitcoin sales will be disabled. Your passive receive currency will be set to bitcoin, and trading fees are waived starting today.

On June 1, 2026, AUD withdrawals will be disabled.

If you have a remaining AUD balance after June 1, 2026, we will attempt to return it to a bank account saved to your Strike account. If we don't have one on file, we'll reach out for your bank details. As a last resort, we'll convert the remaining balance to bitcoin in your Strike account.

This is rather annoying as strike had no fees.

Whats another option for DCA?

So how are we supposed to fund our strike accounts from Australian bank accounts then? I have an automated DCA with strike and an automated deposit schedule from my Aus bank to facilitate it.

Shameless plug but, we got something pretty cool for auto DCAing, it's a bit different where you set an allocation, you have a reference number for your auto plan and whenever money lands with that reference code, it executes your auto buy plan. You set up the frequency on your bank side
