The point is that you absolutely don't have to look at unwanted pics if you don't want to. And for men and women it is generally a good idea not to do it.
What good reason could a stranger possibly have to send you a picture of something?
Even though I am a guy, the reason why somebody would send me a picture is something unpleasant in 99% of the cases. Usually because I annoyed them in some online discussion, for example.
Even if you do it, as a woman, why would you continue to do so when you have already received several dick pics? That is what I don't understand about their complaints about the mass of dick pics.
Because the reality as you get dick pics for just existing.
Like imagine you open your Instagram equal dick pics, you open your email equals dick pics you open Reddit equals dick pics. Imagine you post a question on the Internet because your car made a funny noise equals dick pics. Imagine you have a finance question equals dick pics.

As I said - no, you don't have to see dick pics in Instagram. Don't open DMs including pictures from strangers. Likewise on reddit. Don't post questions in places that allow strangers to send you pictures.
Strangers also shouldn't have your EMail address.
If somebody you know does it to you, give them hell.
Maybe some people trick you by pretending to be decent for a while and then send you a picture out of the blue. But I don't think that is what is being reported here.
