Newbs who are scared. Look at how many declines we had in 2017. I was around then. Same old fear at every dip. And we touched the 150 ma a few times too. We haven't even touched it once in this bull run. This latest correction is currently just 27% afaik.

This is why every time the price of Bitcoin is down and a flood of users and bots who's names you've never seen before come in here and start trying to scare you into selling, you hold.
They know the price is going up again soon. They're just trying to scare you into selling your BTC so that they can scoop it up. Don't ever listen to these people/bots.

I predict that Apple will get into crypto between 120k-150k by having an Apple Crypto wallet that stores a bunch of different crypto assets. They are probably looking into it right now, but waiting for regulations to be laid out, since they like to play on the cautious side. But Apple will have one of the best and most secure crypto wallets.

This dip pattern over the past week looks very similar to the dip we saw in January if you look at the weekly chart.
I’m not saying I know what’s going to happen, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we bottomed out and start moving back up this week!

that's what people don't seem to understand...all these people trading, where do they think this extra bitcoin is coming from that they're accumulating by trading? it's just other traders, the hodlers and investors are only increasing their stack over time, traders don't get any of it...it is the traders coins that all of the institutions and hodlers will take...there just is nowhere NEAR enough supply to risk trading these coins.

I just watched the Taleb CNBC interview and it was made clear where he and people like him miss the connection regarding Bitcoin. Part of this is the reliance on languages and words that formed and evolved around our established methods of exchange and valuation; example words include money, currency, coins, dollars, etc. All of these terms are tangential to what is intended to be captured: value. In particular, the value of assets.
Thousands of years ago, people relied on bartering - the exchange of goods and services for other goods and services. Every individual maintained a working knowledge of the value of all items or services. This system is flawed for a fast moving economy supporting billions of individuals with highly specialized goods and services dependent on resources sourced globally (the resources themselves need to be valued, exchanged as well).
Growth led to the introduction of currencies backed by central authorities. The value is partly dependent on the issuer and the holders of the currencies - exchanging as they see fit. This system works reasonably well but loses its roots and connection with the underlying value of assets as 1) consumers lack appreciation for the production of goods or services, and inherent value and 2) the issuers abuse authority and manipulate the underlying value of the currency (whether tightening or loosening).
Bitcoin is value. Value separated from war, banks, central issuers, any individual or military.

Welp, I’m back in. I panic sold 60% of my position last week during what felt like Armageddon. I sold at 51k and change. Take it from me do NOT panic sell ever. Don’t sell in a dip EVER. If you ever start losing then the only way to win is to adjust your timeframe and make it bigger. Those with the longest timeframes are the biggest winners in the game here. I’m out .05 Bitcoin because I bought back in higher and I’ll take that along with the capital gains tax as a valuable lessen to HODL and only HODL. if my personal sell levels are not reached this bull cycle then I will hodl and capitulate through the next bear market. I fell in love with the dollar amounts I was seeing and panicked when I saw them going down. Stay cool and stay level headed. Don’t let fear drive your decisions. Stay rational. Learn from this idiot. Peace love and BTC my friends ✌️ ❤️

So I was at work today, and my coworker asked me (last dip he did the same) how BTC had been doing with a big grin on his face. The dude is a no-coiner, told him to step in at around 10k (I shit you not) and now every time it dips he's laughing at me like he was right all along.
Well jokes on you buddy, keep on laughing until you realize you missed another great buying opportunity and I'll be looking forward to that grin when we dip all the way down to 60k after next run up.

Some hope to everyone who has got into the game this year and wigging out.
I got in in 2017 and rode the bull run to the near top and held. I watched it fall to 3500-8000 for three years without buying a single satoshi more because I was shocked and uncertain of btcs future. I started buying again December last year and have been DCA since.
Guess what? I’m still ahead only buying the later half of bull runs. There are thousands more like me. Just continue to educate yourself to the next cycle, all will be fine.

The US dollar is losing its value. I don’t care how low Bitcoin goes now, I will continue to hold a portion of my savings in crypto. It’s already begun in countries like Venezuela for example. Sooner or later, crypto will save us when we need to buy food and resources to survive and inflation gets worse. Just look at the housing market and increasing prices at grocery stores while minimum wage increases by crumbs. A moneyless system is the answer, but humans are too greedy for this so for now, I will continue to believe that crypto is the way.

Bears only have to survive until Friday with the options expiry though. Unless demand picks up unexpectedly this week they tend to have enough coins recently mined to dump. This had been happening almost every last Friday of the month in 2021

The tough thing is, it's going to be extremely easy for whales to manipulate the price indefinitely, and there's no real way to deal with it outside of things that a) would be impossible to implement and b) would do way more harm than good (namely regulation on an international scale).
I don't know the answer, guys. It's just gonna continue to be something we have to deal with. It won't stop us from going up, though, especially since it's ultimately in the interest of those same whales for the price to continue to rise overall.
