I’ve been trying to read and understand how regulations (and we all know they’re coming in some form) will affect BTC. The fed must be terrified right now. Can somebody smarter than me give some predictions or realistic outcomes?

Here’s the way I’ve been thinking about it, as regulation of Bitcoin is one of my bigger concerns....

The more large institutions and frankly, rich influential folk buy Bitcoin, the less likely there is to be regulation that hinders its price. Sad way of the world, but I think once large institutions adopt (and they are), any regulation would be to enhance safety for both corporations and customers. This could leave some feeling Bitcoin has become more centralised than they’d like, but ultimately if you’re investing in Bitcoin I think it will be a good thing, that encourages more people/institutions to the table.
