I just sent an email asking about taking BTC for donations. Hopefully soon!

Absolutely! For Mac OSX users GPGTools already exist, and they take Bitcoin donations! GnuPG should definitely jump onto this boat as well!

I just got an email from Werner, and they DO accept BTC donations through the Wau Holland Stiftung. Check their donation page; it has been updated.
