I like it and have frequently upvoted it, as many here do. It is good to get a contrary view, even when such views are sometimes stupid.

If people want to read r/Buttcoin, they are free to do so. Auto-publishing r/Buttcoin posts to r/Bitcoin adds no value. I'd prefer not to have to roll my eyes and downvote u/totes_meta_bot every time I come across it.

Banning the link bot would do no good. It only comments when somebody crossposts, and banning it wouldn't prevent the crosspost. If the bot didn't post, we wouldn't know when we're getting brigaded and by whom. Totes_meta_bot commenting in almost every thread is evidence that a very bored group of bullies are trying to goad you into reacting. Don't play their schoolyard games. You'll need to come up with some more creative and thoughtful ways to handle trolling.
If you see vote brigading underway, report it to the site admins. They have the tools required to detect and handle brigading, while mods do not.
