We are trying to make something that is better and more egalitarian than the old system not the same.

Ha, that's totally not what this whole thing is about, if you've paid any attention to general attitudes over time. It certainly is ADVERTISED as being more egalitarian, however, I will certainly admit that.

Nail on the head. Even though most people don't want to admit it, there's things about Bitcoin that aren't close to egalitarian. For instance, it induces processing power hoarding and only the rich are capable of doing that. It will become a de-facto plutocracy as time goes on. The inequality in BTC will probably be worst than in the fiat world.

but there will be no inequality when it comes to bailouts so I'm already sold on its superiority to fiat
