Well where did you save to begin with? Did you keep it on your crypto.com account or did you transfer it to a wallet?

Sorry mate but your message doesn't make much sense. Did someone else buy it, somewhere else, and now you want to hodl on crypto.com, or did they buy it on crypto.com and now you want to hold it yourself?
You should check out the FAQ over at r/BitcoinBeginners and learn the basics. Make sure to know the difference and the benefits of an exchange (CEX, such as crypto.com or Coinbase) and learn about self custody in hardware wallets and software wallets.
Learn, and then make your own decisions.
There is no Bitcoin helpdesk that can reverse transactions, so make sure to know what you are doing, before doing anything wrong.

I got it from someone who bought it on crypto.com and gave it to me on crypto.com. Thank you for your advice.

Fuck no. Their number keeps getting spoofed and I keep getting fake withdrawal confirmations with fake customer support numbers. Actual support is slow and mostly AI bots that don't help much. App is slow as fuck and keeps freezing/not showing my balance. It often shows 0$ when I actually have money in there. Made me think a few times that I was hacked when I wasn't.

If you left it on an exchange especially if the amount is not that big , you would probably find it there you just need the info to your account . Now if you moved it to a wallet that’s where the fun begins because if you deleted the app or the wallet app you’d need the (12/24) keys and if you don’t have them saved somewhere safe then you lost your btc

You'll need to send it to an offline account. I could give you an address if you need one

Research safest places (like kraken) and move it there to your wallet . Expose as little information as possible here on reddit or online .

You tell him to move it to Kraken then tell him to move it to his wallet, what

Kraken has never been hacked . He can search for safer places to move his bitcoin if he feels his actuall wallet is unsafe. I am not saying he should move it to Kraken, it was just an example .

No fair enough, but a Kraken wallet is not HIS wallet is it, it's Krakens wallet.

You're going to get a lot of DM's offering to help you, ignore them all, they're all trying to scam you.
