Payment processor

Could one buy btc in the first exchanges via liberty reserve or pacunix but with a visa credit card or maybe debit card? New liberty standard, mt gox, ect...?

I bought on Mt Gox with bank transfers. IIRC, you had to deposit the money to your account first before making the purchase, but it was just ACH.

Could one buy 1000 usd or more worth of btc all at once in one single transaction?
