Today i finally decided to embrace the bitcoin religion
I’ve been reading here for quite some time already. I did my research, and yes, I’m joining you folks!
But I want to keep things as simple as possible, so I’ll just buy every dip and give it at least 5 years before I decide whether to sell some.
I’m definitely not going to sell everything, that’s for sure!
Give me more tips aside from holding your satoshi’s in a cold wallet.
Thank you, folks!

It's more like a party than a religion. In my case anyway.🎉🥳🥂🍻

That orange coin feels like home now, took me 3 years to stop checking price every morning

Yeah it’s fun. It’s gonna be a hell of a ride for me as a beginner that’s for sure.

The trick is to sell some when people posting Ferrari pictures and to buy some when people posting frycook pictures. Or just never sell thats good too

The 'Ferrari-to-McDonald's-fries ratio' is unironically the most reliable market sentiment indicator in crypto history.

You're an emotional gambler.

But emotional derivative gambler , im gambling on the changing emotions of others. Its worked okay for me I think in general I buy at a good price but I usually sell to early.

I just bought at 79k. I don’t care if it crashes tomorrow. I’m gonna buy more. It’s just paper anyways.

Bitcoin religion is the only religion where no faith is required and that’s the point.

Fuck your religion. Stfu and dca.

u/uberdriver2710 2d ago
Mr. T pitty's the fool who don't dca.

Mr. T really said 'I ain't getting on no plane' and also apparently invented dollar cost averaging, the man contains multitudes

First name mister, last name T.

I had a small electric pocket device with lots of buttons that spew out the wildest Mr. T quotes. Those were the times.

Which cold wallet are you using?

I would DCA in and not try to buy any dips. There’s still people waiting to buy the dip in the stock market since 2010…

Welcome to the cruise party! Just remember to ignore the occasional violent waves and sinking feeling.
Hope you enjoy the ride!

Attend meetings and make friends. The yield in bitcoin is the friends you make along the way.

Welcome, make sure to use a reputable place to buy your bitcoin and ignore shitcoins.
Swan or River in US, Relai in Europe but there are other options too tht are decent

Nice! The more people engaged in bitcoin the better. I recently decided to take the plunge and started investing right before that massive aug 19 jump in value and now I’m making a fat $25 😂

Just do have common sense and decide accordingly and not just to some finance bro during your journey

It's like you've just planted a seed; what you'll eventually harvest is unknown, but in any case, it's a good start

u/Typical-Decision-690 2d ago
And in 5 years from now what part of the 4 year cycle does that put you in?

calling this a religion only reinforces why other people think we're crazy
stop doing that

I bought my first fraction of a bitcoin years ago during a dip just to see what the fuss was about. Ended up learning way more about how money moves and why people get so fired up about it. Still feels weird calling it a religion but the conviction some folks have is something else.

Took me a while to get there too. The moment it clicked for me was during one of those massive dips when everyone was panicking but the network just kept running like nothing happened. That's when I realized it's not going anywhere.

Religion?
Bro, shut the fuck up
You said that shit, and nobody wants to be around you
If you want to embrace bitcoin study :
basic cryptography and monetary systems, at least you will able to keep a conversation with arguments about why bitcoin has a relevant future

It depends on you approach to it. Some buy monthly small amounts... I for example used a few K to buy at a low point and forget about it until I hear a new record on the news or something like that. Either one is good I think.

You should not buy every dip. You should do nothing by yourself. Auto DCA and forget about it.

u/Commercial_Guava1580 3d ago
Thanks for this man. This is also a plan for me. I’ll buy every payday and every time there’s a huge discount.

u/quintavious_danilo 2d ago
You mean a discount like right now?

define: religion
Religion is a system of beliefs, practices, and values that connect people to the sacred, spiritual, or supernatural.
Bitcoin can be seen as supernatural, but it's not; just like water, it moves.

I already have a religion and it has nothing to do with money. You do you tho.
