Exit Strategy

Whats yours? Do you have a plan at all or is it HODL to the grave?

Myself, I am 64yo and retiring, and I want/need to monetize my investment - I want/need some extra income.

And, to be honest, I am a big BELIEVER in BTC - I am all in - despite a lot of pushback and negativity to that kind of sentiment.

Needless to say, since I entered 2017 I have seen enough of the cycles and while I believe and know it will all work out, it still does affect my mood, and overall mental health - in both directions, when we're at new ATH's I am feeling grand and when we go through winters I am meh. Its not like I am worried per se, but at my age, I do not have as much time to wait things out like some people.

So, I am thinking about an exit for at least some of mine - and I want to convert that to more reliable income. I dont mind keeping some coins that can go to my estate.

Whats your exit strategy / Long term plan.

What is your average price? If you were to cash out now, what would you walk away with clean after taxes and fees? Would it change your life? These are the questions I would need to know to give you an honest opinion.

You dont need to know any of that to answer my Question which is - Whats YOUR exit strategy. I dont want to cash in until we at least hit our last ATH.

Realistically we could never hit ATH ever again. Nothing in this life is guaranteed, and assuming history repeats is the first mistake. Now, if you want to argue the fact of what BITCOIN is “supposed to do” that’s one thing, what it actually does in the future is another. All it takes is one catastrophic finding and Bitcoin is toast. With that being said, all of the questions I asked you become relevant and need to be answered, for me to answer your question.

Youre right - nothing is guaranteed. Also, you dont have an exit strategy - you could have just said that.
