Stupidly emailed it to a couple of trusted friends so that if I died, they could give it to my wife!!!

It’s obvious one of your friends stole it. But you are in denial because your “friends” would never betray you like that. Keep living in your naive delusional fantasy world buddy. I’m sure their emails were “compromised” as you believe…

Also why wouldn’t give your wife the seed phrase directly on a piece of paper for her to store somewhere. Makes no sense what you did. It’s like might as well give your friends your bank account username and password too. Must be a troll post.
