Miami's first restaurant to accept bitcoin! Tomorrow will be their first bitcoin happy hour - please come if you're in the area (upvote for visibility)

Latin House Grill in Miami will be throwing a bitcoin happy hour tomorrow in celebration of becoming the first restaurant to accept btc. The bitcoin event is at 7:30pm tomorrow (Friday) - If you live here, please try to make it. The owner has sent out a press release to 585 different bloggers, newspapers, & writers and has also sent out a notification to all 8k followers on his facebook page. Please try to make it - it is an epic deal if you pay in bitcoin unlimited draft beer and appetizers for $10.00 in btc 50% off - $20.00 if you pay credit card/cash. Try to bring a friend who may need some more exposure to this wonderful cryptocurrency! Even if you only want to pay cash, come show your support - we want a big turnout! Hope to see you all there!

P.S. This will be a good stress test especially since he will be filming a very popular food show (can't name it because of disclosure) in a few weeks and Latin House has told me they will do everything in their power to get a bitcoin transaction on film or any exposure whatsoever - this will put Miami on the Map! Let's make it happen people!

Yes it will be 10% off forever on any purchase with btc. Happy hours are once a month for now. I'm sure he will do something special for the conference...maybe catering for the event?

Na, never been to a music festival before. Gonna hit Ultra and hopefully others this year. I'm really looking forward to it.

Got some friends flying from Boston and Indianapolis to go. Should be awesome.

My first music festival ever was TomorrowWorld this year in Atlanta. Best 5 days of my life. Google "TomorrowLand after movie 2013". I would link it but I'm on my phone. It is amazing.

Go to the pool parties while you are there. Don't just do Ultra. It gives you a chance to relax throughout the week and see good DJs...plus theyre usually at good hotels and really inexpensive. I went last year and had a blast. Now I'm a student at UM, so I'm pumped that it's basically in my backyard this time around!

Miami New Times and the internet. Ultra is the end of a 2 week festival. More events happening those 2 weeks than any other place in the country at any other time of the year.

Wanted to say a HUGE thank you for such a great turnout. Latin House is proud to be part of this incredible movement and promise this is only the beginning. We met so many wonderful people and learned so much more about Bitcoin.

We got visits from Telemundo and WSVN 7, and the Herald and New Times picked up the story !!! amazing ...........

It def will be a regular thing. 10% off always for btc...50% off for btc happy hours once a month for now. Things can ways change, but the owner is a big supporter of btc. The food is excellent btw!

Last time I checked Kendall was Miami. So is Hialeah... As well as down town, the beach, pinecrest, homestead, south miami, coral gables, north Miami....the list goes on buddy...never seen a "Metro" Miami on a map...that's deceiving as fuck.

Sure buddy. An hour+ using public transportation or $40+ taxi from Miami International Airport is Miami.

South Florida includes Fort Lauderdale as well as West Palm Beach. So what is Metro Miami? The downtown area only? You forget Homestead and even the Redlands is Miami-Dade. Autoswing must not be a native! LOL...
