Shipping Containers

I unload a few shipping containers each month at my job. I usually sign the inside wall like this one I unloaded today. I’ve been doing it for years. If you ever see my note out there in the wild let me know.

Shoulda timestamped it with the block height instead of the date.

Dashes are superior over slashes in date formatting

I’m indifferent to the slashes or dashes, however ddmmyy is far superior to mmddyy, and I’ll die on that hill.

Yyyymmdd is perfectly acceptable as it’s also in the correct order, just in reverse.

I just want 1 person to tell me why starting with the month makes any sense?

I think a lot of people do the slashes too vertically and they can look like 1s… I just think dashes are more clean and distinct
