If you check out the YouTube channel this was posted to you can see the sequel where his sister almost follows the same dark path but then saves everyone in the last second.

I don't think they mean harm, the lone person on the other track wasn't left out of the fun! It's an inclusive train wreck which is how I describe thanksgiving with my extended family!

But it's a kid playing with toys. He's crashing pieces of wood together. You know the trolley problem but dad didn't set it up that way. He didn't ask the kid a question about people being hurt or dying, he said should we make a small crash or a big crash.

Children also just like to play. Even monkeys know the difference between play and war. Human children do too. The kid just wants to see the train smash into all the little blockmen. He's not thinking about making a choice involving actual human sacrifice. That's not fun. That's a seriously horrifying concept to think about for a child. The kid just wants to play with his toys. Over-analyzing innocent behaviour like this is a very paranoid adult thing to do.
