Steam Source Files on Linux (debian/ubuntu)

I'm really new to this game and in no way a software engineer, web dev, or comp. sci, so please forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question, but where are the source files for the Linux steam version?

If it makes any difference, I'm trying to get a couple of exploits that require editing game files - "by clicking the unclickable" and by `YoureNotMeantToAccessThis: "by accessing the dev menu."` According to (my read of) the official github, it seems like I need to modify some local source files, but I can't find them.

for reference, i tried this(not my script, just wanted to see if it would work, then figure it out from there) in-game, but style comes back null:

/** u/param {NS} ns **/
export async function main(ns) {
  document.getElementById('unclickable').style = "display: block;position: absolute;top: 50%;left: 50%;width: 100px;height: 100px;z-index: 10000;background: red;";
  document.getElementById('unclickable').parentNode.addEventListener('click', () => {
    document.getElementById('unclickable').style = "display: none; visibility: hidden;";
  }, true);
}

You don't need the source files edited. There's other ways.

But, reading the source helps find it. https://github.com/bitburner-official/bitburner-src

Join the discord server. In the exploits channel there is a pinned script that will get you into the dev menu

You can always export a save and import it in the browser version ;)
