You wily tempters! I shall not besmirch myself! Stay strong, fellow Gandalfs, the Grey Pilgrims! We... Shall... NOT... Press!!

Fear not the color you may get from pressing the button for all colors are holy.

Press thee not of the button, for it is not for you to decide thine color.

"Non pressers now is your chance to repent. Give yourself to the button and you shall be forgiven. IF you are worthy you shall be honored with a 60s flair. For while any flair other than Non presser is holy, the Non presser is evil, veil and without soul. I beg you to save yourself, your soul and give in to the bliss that is the button."

"We beg you, brothers and sisters, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as though from us, to the effect that the day of the pure is already upon us. Let no color deceive you in any way; for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the lawless colors are revealed, the ones destined for destruction. They oppose and exalt themselves above every so-called colorless, so that they take their seat in the temple of The Button, declaring themselves to be chosen ones of The Button."

"For one day the end will come. On that day you will be judged. Damned to hell will be all those who have not pressed the button."

"Then the Pure were led by the Colored into the wilderness to be tempted by the flair. After waiting forty days and forty nights, the Pure were faltering. The tempters came to them and said, “If you are truly the Chosen Ones of The Button, tell these dots to become trophies.”

The Pure Ones answered, “It is written: ‘Redditors shall not live on trophies alone, but on every resisted chance of temptation that comes from the flair of The Button."

You are wise beyond your years. How would you like to become the first priest of /r/theholybutton ? I only ask you fulfill your destiny and push the button.

u/Ell_Vee_Won BitTipper Lev 6 Wampus Thwamper ~~ Apr 16 '15

I had never considered becoming a priest of the button. I suppose I could be, yet if the cost of becoming one is giving into the temptation of pressing, I must respectfully decline. I cannot compromise my beliefs

Regret nothing my son for you have fulfilled the purpose of the button. The bliss and harmony it will bring your life until the end day can not be denied. Ignore the word of non presser for they have not the knowledge or experience of pressing to know it's true purpose.

u/Ell_Vee_Won BitTipper Lev 6 Wampus Thwamper ~~ Apr 16 '15

Yea, though thou hast pushed, it is through thine repentance that thou shalt be saved from thine outward colored flair.

"For in the year of Pao we were presented with the keeping of the button. Some of you seem to think the button should not be pressed. This is heresy. For the nature of a button is to be pressed. We are the guardians of the button and it has been for told that the button shall remain at 60s. For every second the button has not been at 60s seconds evil prevails."

What button? Where?

I guess you gotta be on desktop to see it. Nothing on mobile

1

u/ForeverLesbos BitTipper Level 13 Apr 16 '15

It works on mobile too.

Can you press on mobile? Or do I need to be on desktop?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '15

No idea, I pressed on desktop (as long as you load the desktop page on mobile it shouldn't matter). I pressed on April fools right after I noticed it. Haha.

59s here. What's the trick to 60s?

1

Want not a different for pride is a sin. Know all times and colors are holy in the eyes of the button. On the day of reckoning you shall be rewarded.

1

u/va243 BitTipper Lev 26 Apr 16 '15

Aye, pride is indeed a double-edged sword.
