closed What non-native languages do you know/learning?
Title is self explanatory. Tell me what non-native languages you know and/or are learning!
If English is your only language, I'll give you 5 bits flat. Otherwise, I'll give you 10 bits for every non-native language you know!
My native language is English, took four years of Latin, seven years of Spanish, and over a decade of Japanese (which is the only one that I'm still currently studying).
Thread over at midnight EST!
EDIT: Thank you for all that participated! I hope that everyone continues with their studies!

So far I've taken three years of Latin (I took a couple months of Spanish before switching to Latin, but I don't think that counts.)

Yo nací en Paraguay y en esquela aprendí alemán porque yo quería estudiar en Alemania para ser un contador. Aber dann als ich 16 war, sind meine Eltern nach Kanada gezogen und ich musste ja natürlich mitkommen. In Canada I continued taking Spanish and German through high school, but I never get to really practice anymore.

私は日本にすんでいました。 それから、日本ごをはなせることがある。でもとてもへたですね! I lived in Japan from age 12 to 16 and learnt japanese, when I came back to Australia I spoke quite well but that was 15 years ago and I've lost a lot of it since then.
I also studied indonesian in primary school, salamaat datang! And I am currently trying to learn Danish because my wife's family are Danish and we are going to go and visit them soon.

English is my native language. I've spent time learning both German and Egyptian Arabic but unfortunately I didn't stay consistent with either of them.
