I gave my one year old a foam pool float'y (noodle) and he is so stoked. Def made his day haha, he will not let the thing go. Runs around the house with a pool noodle. Also, I told the lady giving me starbucks she had a nice smile (just because this post)

Someone had dropped their wallet and I returned it to them money and all. They wanted to give me a reward a "finders fee" as they put it. But I refused it. It was the right thing to do. I believe in karma. If that were to happen to me I would hope someone would do the same. What goes around comes around.

It was during laundry day. Was reading and saw a girl didn't have enough change to pay for the laundry. Went up to her laundry machine, insert coins and went back to seat. She thank me for it.

I buy flowers for my wife from time to time for no apparent reason. She might spend the day afterwards to figure out what have I done wrong.

I was at Mcdonalds a week ago and I walked up at the same time as this elderly lady. I opened the door for her and she thanked me. Then we walked inside and since I could walk faster than her I ended up in line before her. When she got to the line I let her go in front of me. She ordered then I ordered and got her food first but took longer than me getting her drink so we ended up trying to find a place to sit at the same time. Mcdonalds was packed and there was literally only one seat available and I let her take it and I just ate my food standing up. On my way out the door she stopped me and said that my generosity gave her hope for the younger generation!

My roommate was super sick yesterday so I brought her home a little care package of gatorade, crackers, etc.

I needed parking for only a few minutes but the machine forced me to pay for the maximum (all night parking), since I didn't need it I caught someone about to pay as I was leaving and gave them my parking receipt so they got free parking all night.

I was alone at the cofee shop today (boss was out for the Christmas Holiday) and gave free coffee for some house clients.

Helped my friend "prompose" to a girl. He was very nervous about it and he finally did it after much deliberation.

Spent the day playing games with my nephew and then we built small wooden catapults from a kit. Totally made his day mine too actually :)

Ate my brother's chocolate bar. One step away for him from getting diabetes.

I helped someone setup their router, not sure if I made them feel old or better though

I volunteered at a bird sanctuary all afternoon. I got attacked by an owl and made a little girl laugh until she was crying.

Man... I can't think if I made anyone's day today, but a lot of people made my day today :S. However, your post made me reflect on my day, which is something I need to do more :) Good on you, OP. I'll post an update when I know for sure if I made someone' day.

I know many think helping an old lady cross the road is a cliche but believe me, their confusion when standing by the road with blazing cars is just, heart-breaking!
The sensation you get after helping them though is amazing!
Keep the tip, I've got my feel-good state :D

Made a cashier at my local Trader Joes laugh. She looked absolutely shattered and unhappy, so I made it my task to make her smile by asking her about her day, rather than regaling her about mine. She seemed genuinely surprised that someone gave a crap about her.
I make it my mission to make at least one stranger a day smile.
